It’s snowing!
Our Reception children realised the snow was different today- ‘It’s all fluffy today!’ They observed how the snow stuck together better and they could make snowballs. Some decided to roll the snow and discovered that it became very difficult and heavy to push-teamwork was needed. We enjoyed looking at the snowmen our older children in school had made-‘what a massive ginormous snowman!’ We felt how the snow made our fingers, toes, nose and cheeks very very cold and decided to take some snow inside to play with. Once indoors the children observed how it melted turning to cold water. What wonderful learning. Let’s hope the snow stays for another day for more creative imaginative play.☺️❄️
