A huge well done to our boys, who this afternoon won the Killowen Shield at the Ulster University pitches. On route to the final we put in dominating performances, beating Millburn 5-0, St. Colum’s 2-0 and Mill Strand 2-0. Today showed the importance of defending as a unit in tough, windy conditions where John, Tafu and Ethan helped to ensure we kept a clean sheet in each match. A special mention should also be given to Danny and our captain, Jack, who both scored tremendous efforts from distance. As always, every player played their part, ensuring we became winners of our first piece of silverware this year.
All focus will now turn to the Doherty Shield final on May 19th at the Coleraine Showgrounds, where we are asking for your support as we go again!
