Year 1 are learning all about ‘People Who Help Us’. We had a very exciting visit from a nurse who taught us so much about working in a hospital and how she helps to make people better. We loved the demonstrations of how to use a pupil gauge, ear thermometer and blood pressure cuff! We are now able to use the techniques and terminology we learnt from our visit in our hospital role play area. If anyone is feeling unwell come to our ‘P1 Hospital’ we are experts in administering injections, bandaging wounds, using a stethoscope and writing prescriptions.
