Year 6 Residential to Ganaway

9th May 2016

Year 6 pupils have just returned from three days of non-stop action and activities during our class residential.  On Wednesday 4th May, we travelled by train to Bangor and from there to Ganaway Activity Centre, Millisle.  Before we even had a chance to unpack, we were suited and booted ready to take on the Climbing Wall, Zip Line and Underground Cave System.  On Thursday, we travelled to Titanic Belfast, where we toured the galleries and also took part in a celebration aboard the S.S.Nomadic.  Congratulations to Megan Doherty who was the 100,000th Education Visitor to Titanic Belfast!  The staff were most impressed with the super behaviour and good manners of the pupils when they were in the centre and when visiting the gift shop.  Thursday night was Talent Show night and we were definitely entertained with brilliant performances from individuals and groups of pupils.  On our last day, we tried out the High and Low Ropes as well as Archery, before catching the train back to Coleraine.  We are very thankful to the staff at Ganaway and Titanic Belfast for making our trip so enjoyable and memorable.
