KS2 trip to York

16th Jun 2018

On Monday 11th June, twenty-three excited pupils set off on a four day residential trip to York.  They left school at 5:30am and crossed over to Scotland on the ferry, before driving down through England to their destination. A fully packed schedule of activities followed in the next three days including: The National Railway Museum, Jorvik Viking Centre, tours of the city centre and the Minster, a visit to York’s Chocolate Story, Eden War Camp and Thirsk Birds of Prey Centre. After narrowly avoiding Storm Hector, pupils arrived back late on Thursday night with lots of stories and memories from their big adventure.
