In Reception, the children have lots and lots of fun.....every day! Daily, they are busy exploring the different areas of learning both inside and outside the classroom. This has provided great opportunities for the children to explore, investigate, discover and learn. We provide many exciting opportunities and carefully monitor the progress of each individual child. Reception class have settled into school life brilliantly and we are looking forward to spending the rest of the year with them!
During the Reception year children have extended opportunities to thrive and learn through Play Based Learning. Through a mixture of carefully planned adult activities and more spontaneous child led activities, the children develop skills and understanding across the 6 Areas of Learning :
