P7 pupils have been involved in Business Beginnings during Term 3 and have been busy designing, producing and marketing a product to sell. Under the expert guidance of Gordon Craig from Johnston Printing Ltd, pupils made ‘Dinky Door Designs’ to sell to pupils and staff at school. Each sales event was a busy time as every team carried out their different roles to make sure that all customers left with a high level of satisfaction. On the last day, the Finance Team were pleased to report that the company had made a profit, with enough to treat the class to pizza, and also make a donation to charity. The class were also invited to visit Johnston Printing Ltd, to see how the printing business works. Our thanks to Gordon and his staff for making this such a worthwhile project.
