Our Reception children have loved adding large loose parts to their junk art train, bringing their creation to life in new and exciting ways. Their play has been full of imagination and creativity, with children drawing on their own experiences of journeys as they role-played, shared stories and explored new ideas together. It’s been wonderful to see so much purposeful play, collaboration and learning! 🌍🎨
The children also explored travelling using their bodies during physical development, moving like trains, stretching, balancing and coordinating their movements as they “travelled” to different destinations. What a fantastic way to learn through play! 💪🚶♂️🚆
