3D Shape fun in Numeracy
17th Jan 2026
This week, our P4 children have been exploring 3D shapes and comparing them to real-life objects in our everyday environments🧊🏀
They tested different shapes to find out which ones roll, stack or slide, making predictions and sharing their ideas in group tasks.
The children also used Lego and ICT to create fantastic cube and cuboid robots, developing their problem-solving and design skills along the way 🤖 Additionally some groups created 3D shape towers and had to work out which shapes stacked together to prevent it from falling over!
A brilliant mix of learning and creativity. Well done, P4!
