At Macosquin, we’re proud to offer an amazing variety of Extra-Curricular activities — from Cross-Country Running to Speech and Drama, Hockey to Surfing, Stitch and Sew to Gymnastics, Story Club to Dancing, Football to Brain Boost and so many more. There is something for every child to enjoy and wonderful opportunities to discover and develop their talents!
Our recent ETI Inspection report commended our Extra-Curricular activities, stating that ‘A wide-ranging choice of learning opportunities runs from Breakfast Club in the morning to after-school clubs and extra-curricular activities in the evening. The after-school opportunities, for example, music, choir, Highland dancing, baking, surfing, horse riding and team sports, allow the children to find their own passion and have a chance to shine. The children spoke well of these opportunities and how they have helped them develop skills and confidence. Participation levels are high with most of the children benefitting from taking part in one or more of these activities’.
