Year 3C pupils thoroughly enjoyed showcasing their cross-curricular learning on the topic “Where the Wild Things Are”. With a particular focus on the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ by Julia Donaldson, the pupils talked about their written descriptions of the Gruffalo in literacy, the pictogram which determined Year 3C's favourite character in numeracy and the masks they made using a variety of different materials and textures in art. The class then re-enacted the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ with lovely musical accompaniments. All the pupils loved performing for their class assembly. Well done P3C!
