On Friday, our P4 pupils took their maths learning outdoors! Using natural materials collected in our sensory garden 🍃🌸🪵, the children worked collaboratively to create fractions and explore equivalent fractions in a hands-on, practical way.
From leaves and petals to stones and sticks, pupils demonstrated fantastic problem-solving, teamwork and mathematical thinking while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful outdoor environment. 🌞
