Theme 2 - Crying
Primary One pupils enjoyed welcoming baby Lucia and her mummy back into the classroom this week. It was so wonderful to see baby Lucia again! We noticed she has grown a little and was trying hard to grab onto some toys.
We asked her mummy some questions to find out why Lucia cries and what techniques are used to calm her.
The aim of this theme is to help the children understand that a baby cries to let us know they have a problem. When a baby cries they may be hungry, tired or need their nappy changed etc.
We can’t wait to see Lucia and her mummy again next month!
