Science Week in P6! 🧫 🧪💡
As part of Science Week we had our very own electrician visit Primary 6. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about and building their own circuits. They loved the practical learning and many were truly inspired… perhaps some mini electricians in the making! A very special thank you to Jonathan Nevin for coming in and teaching and inspiring our children…a very memorable afternoon! 💡
Our Primary 6 class continued to have a fantastic time during Science Week exploring air resistance! 🚀🪂 The children designed and created their own parachutes before testing them to see how slowly they could fall to the ground. Through lots of trial and error, they discovered how surface area and air resistance affect the speed of a falling object. 📏🔬 There was great excitement, teamwork, and some brilliant scientific thinking as pupils compared results and improved their designs. 🌟👩🔬👨🔬
