Year 4 Residential Trip

8th Jul 2016

Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their residential trip to the North Antrim Coast in June.

It was very exciting and a real adventure travelling by ferry from Ballycastle to Rathlin Island. We spent the morning on Rathlin bird watching for puffins and exploring the ‘upside down’ lighthouse at the RSPB Bird Centre.

Later that day, a story teller told us many enchanting tales and gave us some fantastic tips for our own creative story writing.

On the final day, we had an interesting visit to ‘The Giant’s Causeway’ where we learned more about the legend of Finn MacCool and the geology of the area.

We then travelled back in time by catching a lift with the ‘Bushmills Tram’ to conclude our fun filled outing.
