Macosquin PS football team played in a nail biting game against St Columba’s yesterday in the first round of the Doherty Cup! After a short delay, the game kicked off and Macosquin's shape and training were clear to see, scoring 2 super goals! Tafu was solid in goal all game and kept a number of breakaways at bay. In the final few minutes we conceded a late goal unfortunately knocking us out of the cup and into the shield. While this is disappointing, we are excited at the prospect of lots more football early next year! Well done everyone and thank you for our faithful supporters braving the cold and rain to cheer us on!
