What a day to remember! Close to 2 decades since anyone can remember Macosquin Primary School having such a successful football team. This team of players are exceptional. This morning we introduced them in assembly, highlighting their individual skill and in the afternoon they collectively played fantastic football winning 4-0. Our captain Jack bagged a hat trick, finishing it with an absolute corker from well outside the box! Every player did their job with determination and composure and took home our second piece of silverware this year! The 2023 Doherty Shield Champions! Macosquin Primary Football Team! Thank you to all the supporters, parents, governors, teachers, pupils, sponsors The Vet Service and anyone who wished the team well coming into the final! They did you all proud!
